Job Description

We have a new and exciting opportunity for an ACCA/ACA qualified Accountant to join a well-established, leading accountancy firm based in Colwyn Bay. If you have experience with client management and can take ownership of a portfolio of clients this may be the perfect role for you.

In the Accountant role, you will be:

Preparing accounts for sole traders and partnerships Preparing statutory accounts for micro, small and medium sized organisations Assisting on audit assignments Preparing of personal and corporate tax computations and returns, including CGT Workings and computations Bookkeeping and preparation of management accounts Assisting the directors in tax planning opportunities Providing excellent customer service to a range of clients and organisations Developing the practice through business development and marketing
To be considered for the accountant role, you must have:

ACCA/ACA qualified or qualified by experience with post qualified experience in a similar role Excellent IT skills with experience using accounting software including Sage, Xero and QuickBooks Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to establish and maintain high standards of personal conduct and professional relationships An understanding and knowledge of confidentiality and data protection The determination and passion to grow and develop with the organisation
This is a full time, permanent vacancy working Monday to Friday based in their office located in Colwyn Bay. A competitive salary is on offer depending on skills and experience, plus great company benefits which include contributory pension and private healthcare after a probationary period.
