Salary - 28,000 - 36,000 per annum



We are looking for a Functional Skills English Tutor to join us at HMP Dovegate - a Category B adult male facility near Uttoxeter, Staffordshire where we care for up to 1160 male adult prisoners over the age of 21 serving a range of sentences including trial, remand, those awaiting sentence and convicted men serving long and short-term sentences.

What I need to do the role?



Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF) Level 3 - subject specialism Have proven experience of working in an environment that demands strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Have demonstrated flexibility and the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure. Recent experience and appropriate knowledge. Experience of a custodial environment would be an advantage Experience of working with learners from non-traditional backgrounds Good technical knowledge and skills
