We're looking for a passionate, creative and student-centred
Functional Skills Tutor
to join our supportive team. This role is integral to ensuring that English, Maths and digital skills are not taught in isolation, but fully embedded across our vocational programmes. You will work closely with vocational tutors to design and deliver sessions that connect to student's chosen study pathways. About the Role
As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will deliver engaging English, Maths and Digital Skills sessions from Entry Level to Level 2, making sessions accessible, relevant and inclusive for diverse students.
You will:
Plan and deliver creative, inclusive Functional Skills sessions
Provide 1:1 and small-group support
Carry out assessments and track progress
Work closely with a supportive multi-disciplinary team
Embed learning from students' vocational studies into your teaching
Embed personal, social, health and economics into your teaching
Inspire young people to gain the qualifications and confidence they deserve

About You

Have experience in teaching Functional Skills English and Maths.
Have experience in teaching Digital Skills
