Role Overview:

As a Soft Play Assistant at FUNDA Land, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all children and their families during their visit. This role requires a

friendly

and

energetic

individual who enjoys working with children and can maintain a positive atmosphere in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise Activities:

Supervise game areas including Bumper Carz, Climbing Wall and Lazer Tag. Training is provided.

Supervision:

Monitor children within the soft play area to ensure their safety and adherence to the rules.

Customer Service:

Greet families upon arrival, assist with check-ins, and provide information about the facilities and services available.

Cleanliness:

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the soft play area, including regular cleaning of equipment and surfaces.

Assistance:

Help children navigate the play structures, ensuring they have a fun and safe experience.

Conflict Resolution:

Address any issues or disputes between children or parents in a calm and professional manner.

Event Support:

Assist with the setup and management of birthday parties, special events, and other activities as required.

First Aid:

Administer basic first aid if needed and ensure that any incidents are properly reported.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operation and a positive experience for all visitors.

Qualifications:

Age:

Must be at least 16 years old.

Experience:

Previous experience in a customer service role, particularly in a childcare or recreational setting, is preferred but is not essential.

Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks. A friendly, approachable demeanour with a passion for working with children.

Certification:

A current First Aid certification is desirable but not required.

Availability:

Must be available to work a minimum of a Saturday or Sunday between 09:30am-6:00pm and have availability during school holidays.
