THE ORGANISATION



Mindspace Limited is a community based voluntary organisation committed to supporting and promoting the mental wellbeing of people in the Perth area. Mindspace is funded by the local Health and Social Care Partnership, NHS Tayside, the Scottish Executive, Trusts, funders and donations. Mindspace's objective is to promote mental wellbeing in a safe and supportive environment.

PURPOSE OF THE POST



To drive grant applications and fundraising to generate both restricted and unrestricted funding. To raise the profile of the organisation through all appropriate means including: face to face, exhibiting at local events; events with partners; and digital media. With colleagues to develop and enhance our digital communication channels and website as tools for engagement. To harness the existing enthusiasm via volunteers to support the marketing and fundraising drive necessary to raise the profile and reach of the organisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES



1. Create a Marketing and Fundraising Plan in line with organisational objectives

2. With support from Chief Executive and senior team, you will ensure that all projects have the appropriate funding in place to deliver services (via funding applications to grant-making bodies and trusts)

3. Increase our reach and appeal to people experiencing mental ill health or emotional distress and influence potential supporters through talks, presentations and other marketing channels.

4. Seek fundraising opportunities to generate income and raise the Mindspace profile including holding events and writing to trusts; online and donations; involving volunteers where appropriate.

5. Set up and oversee a fundraising committee to involve staff, clients, volunteers and board members

6. Ensure that all appropriate marketing channels are used to communicate effectively with stakeholders (including managing the website, the production of flyers, brochures and exhibition-related materials, social media etc)

7. Oversee the production of the annual report

8. Track client data and feedback to ensure high-quality of service provision via the CRM system

9. Attend meetings or events as agreed with the Chief Executive and Senior Team.

10. Work sensitively and professionally with people with lived experience of mental ill health and help them to convey their stories and needs.

11. Work constructively with colleagues across the organisation to develop new projects and ensure that information and data management systems are appropriate and up to date.

11. Identify own learning needs through reflection on performance and participation in 1:1 supervision

12. Participate in team meetings and always provide practical support to colleagues

13. Undertake other duties which may be required, and which are commensurate with the post.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 22,432.00 per year

Expected hours: 28 per week
