Funding & Impact Manager

Job Description

Our client an established Charity who supports young people aged 10 - 25 and women with children aged 5+ in Westminster and the neighbouring boroughs, is searching for a Funding & Impact Manager to join their team on a 3 month FTC.

Working with the CEO, Deputy CEO and Programme Managers, you will develop and refine our fundraising and impact strategy, taking responsibility for identifying funding opportunities, submitting bids and ensuring reporting and compliance. You will help to develop relationships with corporate partners, donors, as well as individual supporters, ensuring a robust and sustainable income to support growth plans. You will support in the use of the data management system, Beacon, to track both the funding pipeline and commitments. You will analyse the data to tell stories that help us improve the charitys work, expand their reach and increase access to resources.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Funding



Set up funds on Beacon, our CRM system, tracking opportunities, applications, outcomes, reporting requirements.

Support the development and delivery of a fundraising strategy, with specific focus on developing a portfolio of sustainable, multi-year grants, trusts and funds and service delivery contracts, while considering how we can expand individual giving, online fundraising and developing corporate relations.

Income planning, including identifying, prioritising and scheduling funding opportunities.

Preparing and submitting proposals and tenders to donors, trusts and funds and government and local government contractors.

Exploring opportunities for commercial income stream development.

Preparing and submitting donor reports

Management of potential Funding Officer, allocating tasks, providing access to data as well as support and quality assurance for proposal and report preparation.

Impact



Use our data management system for analysis programme scale, reach, gender and ethnicity data for volunteers and service users.

Improving impact assessment, data analysis and communication of impact, specifically for three programme objectives (wellbeing, connectedness, and goal setting skills).

Supporting the development of a case study library in line with strategic objectives and target audience

Research and evaluation, looking at long term and wider impacts

Developing a structure for assessment and analysis of volunteer impact and experience

Annual report preparation.

Management of Social Media Consultant,overseeing monthly planning meetings with team, using Unfold data for output, signing off material, overseeing adherence to ToR
