Part time - 15/20 hours per week (Temporary until March 26 initially)

We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic Funding & Monitoring Co-ordinator to join our

team working both remotely and also across project locations in MK and Northants.

C2C Social Action supports people at any stage of the criminal justice system across

Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes, working in partnership with many agencies including,

The Probation Service, NHFT and a large number of other statutory and third sector agencies.

We deliver high quality person centred support to adults involved in the criminal justice

system with varying needs, including risky offending behaviour, mental health difficulties,

domestic abuse, substance misuse, debt, homelessness and much more.

The post holder will play a key role in sustaining and developing the organisation's income

through high-quality bid writing and grant applications. The postholder will be responsible for

identifying funding opportunities, producing compelling funding proposals, and ensuring

timely and accurate monitoring and reporting to funders. This role is essential in demonstrating the impact of our work and supporting the delivery of our strategic goals.

Role Summary



The Funding and Monitoring Coordinator will play a key role in sustaining and developing the organisation's income through high-quality bid writing and grant applications. The postholder will be responsible for identifying funding opportunities, producing compelling funding proposals, and ensuring timely and accurate monitoring and reporting to funders. This role is essential in demonstrating the impact of our work and supporting the delivery of our strategic goals. This is a hybrid role, requiring some project-based work, along with some work from home.

Key Responsibilities



1. Funding and Bid Writing o Research and identify suitable funding opportunities from trusts, foundations, and statutory sources. o Write persuasive, well-evidenced funding proposals and applications tailored to funders' priorities and the needs of the organisation. o Maintain a calendar of deadlines and ensure timely submission of all applications. o Collaborate with the CEO, Senior Leadership Team and Project Managers to gather project information, budgets, and outcomes for applications.

2. Monitoring and Reporting o Coordinate the collection of monitoring data from project leads and delivery staff. o Prepare and submit clear, accurate, and timely reports to funders, meeting all compliance requirements. o Working alongside the Business Lead and Data Administrator, develop and maintain monitoring tools to track project outputs, outcomes, and KPIs. o Support the organisation to demonstrate impact through both quantitative and qualitative data.

3. Relationship and Knowledge Management o Maintain accurate records of applications, grants, deadlines, and outcomes using appropriate systems. o Build and maintain relationships with funders, responding to queries and providing updates when needed. o Contribute to organisational learning by analysing successful and unsuccessful applications. o Stay informed of sector trends, funding policy changes, and opportunities.

KEY FACTORS FOR SELECTION



Essential Criteria

Proven experience of successful bid writing and securing grants from trusts, foundations, or public bodies o Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail o Experience of monitoring and evaluation processes, including data collection and reporting o Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment o Proficient in Microsoft Office o Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and represent C2C's mission o Creativity and sensitivity in handling stories, images and messaging related to vulnerable service users o Commitment to confidentiality, data protection and safe information sharing o Essential car user to enable access to all sites
Desirable Criteria

Understanding of third sector operations and outcomes-based reporting o Familiarity with Theory of Change and impact measurement frameworks o Experience in the charity or community services sector o Familiarity with trauma-informed language and inclusive communication approaches o Understanding of the needs of service users within the criminal justice system or social disadvantage
Condition of Employment

This post is subject to Adult Workforce Regulations. Appointment and continuing employment will be subject to funding, the granting and maintaining of a satisfactory DBS and 2 suitable references. Staff are required to ensure immediate notification to their line manager of any personal involvement in criminal justice services.
