Fundraising and Communications (Events) Administrator

Part-time - 22.5 hours (3 days per week - preferably Tuesday to Thursday but can be flexible)

3 months FTC - immediate start required

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator who is organised, enthusiastic, and passionate about making a difference to join our Fundraising and Communications team. The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the Fundraising and Communications team, with a primary focus on Events, to enable them to reach fundraising goals and provide the highest level of donor support. You'll play a key role in helping us deliver unforgettable fundraising events and provide exceptional support to our amazing donors and community of supporters.
What you will be doing:
The successful candidate will join our fast-paced Fundraising and Communications team at a fun and exciting time, with the summer and autumn events season in full swing and plenty of opportunities to get involved.
Primarily based in the SpecialEffect office, you will be part of our impactful events by providing vital day-to-day administrative support for our busy F&C team, including being a friendly point of contact for event enquiries, supporting event registration processes, preparing and dispatching event materials and helping to coordinate exciting auction and raffle prizes. You may also be required to attend events in person to support the team in representing SpecialEffect.
Upcoming events include the Great North Run, Oxford Half Marathon and One Special Walk.
