About the role:
As Fundraising & Communications Assistant, you will work to achieve our charitable objectives by supporting the Fundraising & Communications Team to raise the profile of The Yard across Scotland.
You will provide key administrative and stewarding support to the Fundraising Team and day-to-day financial fundraising administration.
And support our Communications Manager by gathering and creating content for both internal and external communications.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Researching, planning and writing small-to-medium funding applications to trusts, foundations and other funders
Building relationships with donors and working closely with our other assistant to ensure consistent support across all income streams
Supporting our Communications Manager in managing our media storage platform

About you:
This job is for you if you have:
Experience in a fundraising or administrative role
Excellent oral and written communication skills
A positive attitude and a friendly, approachable manner
Excellent organisational skills
An ability to work effectively as part of a team
