What is the role?
We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and dynamic individual to join the Marketing, Communications, Fundraising and Partnerships team to support aspects of the development of the fundraising programme, with particular focus on leading and supporting fundraising events.
You will take ownership of a number of supporter-led fundraising events, as well as support the Fundraising Team's exceptional stewardship process for donors.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you will work closely with the Fundraising Manager and senior leadership to drive delivery of the Fundraising Strategy with a strong focus on income generation through events, community fundraising, matchday fundraising, and campaigns.
Leading the planning, coordination and delivery of regular matchday fundraising activity throughout the season, you will support the all aspects of the Saints Foundation's fundraising events calendar and take an active role in sales, administration and event coordination.
You will take ownership of stewarding individual supporters and event attendees, ensuring they feel motivated, appreciated and engaged while acting as a primary point of contact for all fundraisers and supporters to maintain the high-quality delivery of services.
Identifying opportunities to generate income through national fundraising initiatives, online campaigns and digital platforms, you will lead on campaign development, implementation and evaluation, using findings to contribute to the wider fundraising team through idea generation and cross-functional support across all departmental activities.
You will manage online giving platforms, including maintaining public-facing content, downloading financial reports, and maintaining regular communication with donors as well as providing general administrative support to the department and ensuring all activity complies with current fundraising legislation and GDPR guidelines.
Is this you?
You have exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work to under pressure, using your previous experience in event coordination and administration (preferably in a fundraising role) to manage multiple tasks with a proactive and adaptable approach.
With strong interpersonal and communication skills, you have the ability to engage and build rapport with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and an understanding of Saints Foundation's mission. You have a strong connection to the experiences of our beneficiaries and communities, with the ability to translate this into compelling fundraising and supporter engagement.
