Overview

We are seeking a passionate and driven Fundraising Manager to lead our fundraising initiatives and cultivate relationships with donors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in marketing, relationship management, and fundraising strategies. This role is pivotal in ensuring the sustainability of our organisation through effective fundraising campaigns and community engagement.

Duties

Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet organisational goals. Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and potential donors, ensuring ongoing engagement and support. Utilise CRM software, including Raiser's Edge, to track donor interactions, manage relationships, and analyse fundraising data. Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling promotional materials that effectively communicate our mission and impact. Coordinate fundraising events and campaigns, overseeing logistics, volunteer management, and donor outreach. Provide exceptional customer service to donors and stakeholders, addressing inquiries and fostering a positive experience. Monitor fundraising progress against targets, preparing reports for senior management to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Stay informed about trends in fundraising and public relations to enhance the organisation's visibility and outreach efforts.

Qualifications

Proven experience in fundraising or a related field, demonstrating success in achieving financial targets. Strong marketing skills with the ability to create engaging content for diverse audiences. Excellent relationship management skills, with a track record of building rapport with donors and stakeholders. Proficiency in CRM software; experience with Raiser's Edge is highly desirable. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to represent the organisation professionally. Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in fundraising practices.
