This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrative professional with a passion for working at a charity with a real purpose. Based in the Fundraising Team, this role will provide admin support to various fundraising teams, the fundraising Data team and senior fundraising management.

About the role




Working within the Fundraising and Marketing directorate, the Fundraising Team Administration Assistant will provide admin support to various fundraising teams, the fundraising Data team and senior fundraising management.



The role is varied and will include answering supporter queries by telephone, face to face and online, stock control and distribution of fundraising materials, preparing and sending thank you and stewardship communications, as well as assisting with delivery of a planned programme of fundraising activities.




The post holder will be managed by the Individual Giving Lead, and provided with training from relevant colleagues to ensure a full and successful induction.


The Fundraising Team Administration Assistant will also provide admin and project support to the Head of Donor Acquisition and Retention and the Associate Director of Fundraising and Communication, as required.

: 23,809.50 to 25,149.18 (depending on experience)

Other responsibilities include





First point of contact for face-to-face, phone, email and postal supporter enquiries (including processing donations over the phone) Review reports from multiple channels and allocate relevant coding for processing Fulfil and deliver agreed response-handling plans for fundraising related activities and deliver planned thanking and stewardship communications Provide effective and efficient administration, including taking and recording orders, preparing and sending out materials Use the supporter CRM effectively and efficiently to record and query information Assist fundraising leads with development and delivery of planned fundraising activities as necessary, including attending events and engagement activities as required (which may be outside usual working hours) Income processing and data processing using the CRM as required and support with CRM housekeeping processes

About you





Demonstrable organisational and time management skills Clear and positive communicator with experience of providing customer service and/or supporter care Experience of providing administrative support in a workplace or similar setting Attention to detail and produce work to a high standard with accuracy Have a professional, sensitive and positive approach Enthusiastic about the role with a passion for supporting St. Luke's Hospice Competent computer user, with working knowledge Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel,Teams, Sharepoint). Previous experience of using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database systems is desirable, but not essential Have a professional, sensitive and positive approach.

The role is based at the Hospice's Thurrock site and may involve travel

between Hospice sites. The postholder must be able to travel to and

attend Hospice sites in-person.
