Summary

We are seeking an experienced Funeral Director/General Manager to join our team in a busy established independent Funeral Directors.

Duties to include

Conducting funerals at a variety of different venues and situations. Managing the day-to-day logistics of our funeral diary to include the funeral personnel, funeral timings and vehicles. Maintain the existing operational procedures and principles for the smooth running of the office staff and the funeral arrangements. Delegate work to administrative staff and manage their workload and output. Manage digital and paper filing systems, ensuring Data Protection laws are adhered to. Support company director with staff recruitment and training, ensuring that all employees observe company policies and procedures

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Funeral Director or in a similar role within the funeral services industry. Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client interactions. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during services. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of legal regulations related to funerals.
