We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Service Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional service delivery and maintaining a high standard of operations. This position involves contact with deceased people, heavy lifting and driving.
Duties
To Pallbear coffins to their final resting place.
Experience in the funeral service industry is required.
Assist in the preparation and organisation of service areas to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
Perform heavy lifting as required, including moving equipment, the deceased, coffins and a range of supplies to support daily operations.
To drive our Limousines, Hearse & Private Ambulance as and when required to carry out funeral services and collection of deceased from hospitals and home addresses.
To assist in the day to day running of our mortuary.
Skills
The ability to be compassionate and caring to the deceased and our family's.
Clean full UK driving license required.
Capability for heavy lifting, demonstrating physical stamina and strength as needed for the role.
Problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges that may arise during service delivery.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn, contributing to a collaborative team environment.
