Furniture Assembly Operative



We are seeking a skilled and quality-oriented Production Associate to join our dynamic team. As a Production Associate, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing and assembly process, ensuring the seamless production of finished goods to the correct specification and to a high-quality standard. The ideal candidate will have a passion for precision, an eye for detail, and the ability to contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities and Duties



?All aspects of manufactured / assembled engineering components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods in Production.

?Machine fine tolerance high quality finished products using a lathe.

?Ensure finished goods are built to work instruction and quality standards, in a timely manner in accordance with the Production Schedule.

?Ability to understand engineering drawings and works instructions.

?Able to work to a high-quality consistent standard.

?Perform quality checks to ensure products meet stringent standards.

?Follow Health & Safety guidelines and quality procedures.

?Maintain a clean and organised workspace.

?Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues as they arise.

?Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.

?Proactively work as a team to continuously improve the production process and production area.

?Undertake any other duties as required to meet the needs of the Business.

?Monthly Target to be achieved.

?Ensure end products meet quality checks.

?Machine fine tolerance high quality finished products.

?Pursue self-development.

Required Experience



?Experience of machining fine tolerance products.

?Use of handheld tools.

?Computer Literate

Required Qualifications



?GCSE or equivalent.

?NVQ /BTEC National/ City & Guilds.

Required Skills and Abilities



?Manufacturing background with the use of lathes desirable

?Flexible attitude

?A knowledge that was previously gained via an apprenticeship or recognised training body.

?Have good hand and eye co-ordination.

?Attention to detail.

?Adherence to quality & compliance.

?Establish and maintain effective working relationship with Co-workers, Managers and Customers.
