An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Furniture Assistant to join us initially for 3 months.
Work alongside the Furniture Supervisor
Undertake the task of glazing of mirrors and furniture preparation/assembly
Working with Stone/Marble.
Assist with inspection/packing of furniture
All products to be packed and labelled as per schedule
QC of deliveries in a timely manner
Keep workshop clean, organised and tidy at all times
Providing help within other departments as required
To perform any other duties that may be reasonably required
Experience in a similar role preferred.
Ability to work to deadlines and targets
An organised nature and keen attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and team player
Previous experience of manual handling would be ideal; some heavy lifting may be required
Knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace
Accuracy and numeracy skills for stock taking
