We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service. Duties

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans, to deliver goods to clients and customers. Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and meet delivery schedules. Load and unload items, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures are followed. Communicate clearly with clients regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Complete all required documentation accurately, including delivery logs and receipts. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety on the road at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, with strong knowledge of commercial driving practices. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. Experience with warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members. Good organisational skills for route planning and time management. Ability to work independently, demonstrating reliability and punctuality. This position is ideal for individuals who are organised, safety-conscious, and possess strong driving skills, committed to providing excellent service while adhering to all safety standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 45 per week
