Furniture Hub Manager (Retail)

Do you have strong retail knowledge and experience of maximising revenue?

Can you actively engage with a small team ensuring sales creation and delivery against targets?

Are you keen to build the best relationships at work and with members of the public?

Can you drive income through identifying market gaps and new opportunities?

Are you enthusiastic and self-motivated and enjoy leading and managing a team of both staff and volunteers?

If you have the ability to:

Apply and share your knowledge and expertise within retail management including pricing, branding, merchandising, stock management

Be adaptable to changing priorities and juggle multiple tasks and manage project work

Problem solve and think creatively

Coach, lead and develop a team

Build relationships, working sensitively on behalf of the Hospice

Put safety first at work

A major part of our income is supported by our retail activity through our Shops & Furniture Hub. Our plans for the next 3 years to meet our strategic objectives include further growth following the construction of a new In-Patient Unit, and we are looking to take our Retail operation to the next level and increase our turnover whilst continuing to serve our community.

To achieve all this, we need enthusiastic, self-motivated and pro-active people who are focused, with an attention to detail and who share our values.

This is a full time, permanent role.

Salary:

Band 3 24,937 to 26, 598 (

dependent on experience)

Hours

: 37.5 hours per week

(including regular Saturdays with a day off in the week)
