Role Overview



We're seeking a proactive and personable

Furniture Sales Administrator

to support our B2B sales process. Working closely with the

Bespoke Furniture Manager

and

Director of Bespoke

, you will be at the heart of our sales and administrative operations. You'll handle new sales enquiries--both online and over the phone--prepare accurate quotations, coordinate payments, and ensure all customer interactions and orders are managed efficiently, professionally, and in line with our high standards.

The role is full time, Monday to Friday and temporary for 6-12 months (to cover maternity leave). The salary equates to 13-14.50 per hour and will be dependant on experience.

Key Responsibilities



Client Liaison:

Handle incoming inquiries, both on email and on the phone, follow up on amendments or delivery dates, address complaints, and manage after?sales matters.

Order & Documentation Management:

Accurately process customer orders using our CRM/ERP system (Workhorse); prepare quotes, invoices, dispatch/delivery notes, and amendments.

Data & Reporting:

Maintain updated customer and sales records, track order status, payments, stock levels; prepare monthly dashboards for key stakeholders.

Accounts & Payments:

Follow up on outstanding balances, issue credit notes, coordinate payment reminders, liaise with finance where required.

Compliance & Quality Control:

Ensure all documentation complies with Max?Rollitt standards and relevant policies; escalate potential issues early.

Skills & Attributes



Required:



Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales or sales admin--ideally in furniture, home interiors, or a related retail industry. Strong organisational ability with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills--comfortable dealing with both clients and internal teams. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams); experience with CRMs or ERPs (e.g., Salesforce, Epicor, similar). Training and support will be given for Workhorse. Customer-focused attitude and resourceful problem-solver.

Desirable:



A genuine interest or background in furniture design, interior decor, antiques and craft. Familiarity with stock control processes and logistics coordination. Commercially driven mindset with the motivation to support and help achieve team sales targets.

Experience



Solid track record (3+ years) in an administrative or customer-facing sales environment. Experience within a showroom or B2B furniture sales operation advantageous.
