We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Furniture Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that furniture is handled with care and precision. This position involves various tasks related to professionally cleaning upholstery, manual handling and supporting deliveries locally.
We are a small team we're everyone helps out!
Duties
Load and unload stock onto vans.
Upholstery cleaning for sofas, beds and mattresses.
Handle materials with care, ensuring proper techniques are used for heavy lifting and moving.
Putting beds together.
Odd repairs.
Preparing stock for delivery.
Assisting with deliveries to customers homes around Yorkshire and the North West.
Meeting customers at our warehouse for collections.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse area at all times.
Qualifications
Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely.
Experience in construction or similar fields is a plus, demonstrating mechanical aptitude.
Strong attention to detail when cleaning.
Excellent organisational skills.
Team player.
Wages - Paid weekly. cash
