Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Garage Manager to lead our team. The successful candidate will manage daily garage operations, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction. While an MOT tester certification is preferable, it is not essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and motivate a team of skilled technicians, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
Oversee garage operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and quality control.
Manage inventory and order parts as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
Ensure the garage adheres to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints effectively.
Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and work towards achieving set targets.
Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Experience as a Garage Manager or in a similar managerial role within the automotive industry.
Preferably an MOT tester certification, though this is not essential.
Strong technical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
Familiarity with garage software.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
