Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our Garden Centre team 5 days a week including weekends.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a keen interest in plants ! a basic plant knowledge would be preferred.

As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our customers, helping them find the right products for their gardening needs.

Responsibilities

Assist customers in selecting and purchasing gardening products by providing knowledgeable advice and recommendations. Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring that products are well-displayed and stocked. Communicate effectively with customers, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall customer satisfaction. Stay informed about new products, promotions, and gardening trends to provide up-to-date information to customers. Participate in inventory management tasks, including stock checks and replenishment of merchandise.

Experience

Previous experience in a retail or sales environment is preferred but not essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills in English A genuine interest in gardening and related products will be beneficial in assisting customers effectively. Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated to achieve individual sales goals.
