Garden design assistant for a small yet powerful team in a busy, fast-paced office environment.

Job description:

We are looking for someone to work with our design team, supporting designers in all aspects of projects (of both small and large scales) from mood board creation, client presentation booklets and working up 3D renders to planting plans, detailed construction drawings and specification writing. Project administration plays a part in the role as well to assist our purchasing team in bringing projects to life including liaising with nurseries to procure quotes. Some time on site and in client meetings, both real and virtual are also required.

This will be a 1-year contract, with scope for growth.

Key requirements:

Graduate landscape architect/garden designer with at least one-year relevant experience. Evidence of design skills Proficient in CAD & software packages:
Vectorworks & SketchUp/Layout

Microsoft 365

InDesign (desirable)

Good understanding of landscape construction and detailing.

Good plant knowledge, including shrubs. High level of attention to detail. Happy & friendly team player ready to pitch in as necessary.

The role is office based in our small studio in Hertfordshire, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
