We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Team Leader to oversee our maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in horticulture and landscape maintenance, with hands-on experience in gardening and irrigation systems. As a leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance personnel, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards. Conduct regular inspections of landscapes, gardens, and irrigation systems to identify areas needing attention or improvement. Provide training and guidance to team members on the proper use of hand tools and power tools. Oversee the implementation of landscape maintenance plans, including planting, pruning, and general upkeep of green spaces. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on team performance. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all landscaping projects align with organisational goals. Foster a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety regulations.

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to landscape maintenance.

Must have 5 years

Experience in horticulture, gardening, and landscape management practices. Ability to lead a team effectively while promoting teamwork and collaboration. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong communication skills to liaise with team members and other departments effectively. Previous experience in growing plants or managing garden spaces is highly desirable.
