London Town Cabins is a people-centred company specialising in the design and construction of beautifully made, high-quality garden rooms.
We are expanding and looking forward to a successful 2026. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys using tools, working as part of a team, and taking pride in high standards.
You'll work as part of a small, supportive team building bespoke garden rooms from the ground up. Each project is different, giving you the opportunity to learn a wide range of skills including groundwork, structural framing, cladding, fitting doors and windows, and completing high-quality finishes. You'll be guided by experienced installers and supported as you learn: your contribution will help create spaces our customers genuinely love.
A full UK manual driving license, held for a minimum of 12 months is essential, as well as having access to their own vehicle to arrive at our workshop, as no public transport serves the remote site.
To ensure job satisfaction, it is our preference that applicants live within an easy commuting distance to our factory - a 30 min commute (within 15 miles) to Clothall Bury Business Centre, Baldock, Hertfordshire.
This is a hands-on, physical role based primarily on customer sites across the South-East; the applicant must be able to work outside in all weathers all year round. Travel between locations is part of the job, and occasional overnight stays will be required. It's well suited to someone who enjoys variety, fresh air, and active work.
