Are you practical, hands-on, and enjoy working outdoors? At Little Green Rooms, we are a people-first business that builds beautifully crafted and high-quality garden rooms. If you value ethical practices and sustainability, then we'd love to hear from you. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with tools, being part of a team, and takes pride in seeing a job well done - no prior experience is necessary, as full training can be provided.
About the role
As a Garden Room Installer, you'll be part of a close-knit installation team responsible for bringing our bespoke garden rooms to life. You'll help build beautiful, functional spaces in our client's gardens, learning how to do everything from groundwork and framing, to cladding, fitting doors and windows, and finishing touches. You'll work under the guidance of experienced installers and contribute to projects that our clients love.
We'll teach you "The LGR Way" our approach to craftsmanship, teamwork, and professional site behaviour and support your growth in the role.
A typical day looks like
Arriving at a client site, helping to set up the tools and workspace
Working outdoors in all weathers as part of a supportive, skilled team
Using hand and power tools to complete a wide range of tasks
Learning how to frame, fit, and finish different elements of a garden room
Keeping the site tidy and organised throughout the day
Communicating with your team and occasionally the client
Packing down at the end of the day and reviewing progress together
You'll be working on-site most of the time, moving between different build locations in the Bristol and surrounding areas - some overnight stays will be required. It's a physical job that suits someone who enjoys variety, using their hands, and being outdoors.
About you
You enjoy using tools and learning new practical skills
You're comfortable working outside, in a physical and hands-on role
You're a positive, flexible and reliable team member
You take pride in doing a job properly and delivering high standards
You promote a culture of inclusivity
You're passionate about social and environmental issues
We understand that candidates have varying experiences, and it is unlikely that all aspects of the role description will be an exact match. Please don't be deterred if that is the case - we'd love to hear from you if you are passionate about our company and keen to learn.
Our small, but mighty team is looked after with a range of benefits, including;
20 days holiday + bank holidays, Xmas shutdown, flexible bank holiday options.
Pension matched up to 3%.
Enhanced family leave and parental support.
Social, charity events and volunteering leave.
Annual profit share
