Are you an experienced carpenter looking to join a friendly team and take the lead on projects? At Little Green Rooms, we are a people-first business that builds beautifully crafted and high-quality garden rooms. We're looking for someone who thrives on delivering exceptional workmanship, enjoys mentoring others, and takes pride in seeing projects through from groundwork to handover.
About the role
As a Senior Installer, you'll be a key part of our site team, taking the lead on complex carpentry tasks, supporting your team, and ensuring our garden rooms are installed to the highest standard. You'll work closely with the Installation Team Leader and play an active role in training junior colleagues, problem-solving on site, and keeping projects on track and on time.
This is a hands-on role where your experience, professionalism and pride in your work will make a big impact on our clients and your team.
A typical day looks like
Leading and delivering complex installation tasks such as framing, cladding, and interior finishes
Supporting the Team Leader to manage workflow and ensure timely project delivery
Providing practical, on-site training to junior installers
Liaising with clients when needed and addressing any snags before handover
Collaborating with your team to keep the site safe, tidy and efficient
Report any challenges, delays or quality concerns to the Team Lead promptly.
Taking initiative to solve problems and ensure work is completed to a high standard
Contributing to continuous improvement and upholding "The LGR Way" on every build
Follow health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
Participate in team meetings to discuss performance, improvements, and recognition.
You'll be working on-site most of the time, moving between different build locations in the Bristol and surrounding areas - some overnight stays will be required. It's a physical job that suits someone who enjoys variety, using their hands, being outdoors and taking responsibility of a team project.
