Gardener
A permanent full-time or part-time gardener is sought for a stunning Berkshire estate. Located near Reading, Berkshire, the gardens comprise of formal and informal gardens and wild meadows.
Features include restored herbaceous borders, lawns, fruit trees, ornamental pond and a stunning collection of dahlias. The gardens are open to the public over the summer.
The successful candidate will take on a range of roles including the upkeep of the formal gardens, as well as general garden maintenance. Responsibilities will also include, but not limited to weeding, pruning, planting, lawn maintenance and enhancing areas of the gardens.
Applicants for this position should be proactive and capable of working unsupervised to maintain the garden. They should be organised, physically fit, have good communication skills and horticulture experience.
References will be required for the successful candidate prior to starting work. Start date Jan/Feb 2026.

Pay: From 27,500.00 per year
