Job Overview


As a Gardener at a reputable hotel, you will play a vital role in cultivating and maintaining beautiful landscapes that enhance the environment and promote sustainability. Your passion for plants and hands-on experience will allow you to nurture gardens, manage irrigation systems, and ensure the health of various plant species. You'll work in diverse settings, from residential gardens to larger agricultural landscapes, contributing to the beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces.

What you'll do



Cultivate and maintain garden beds, lawns, and landscapes through regular planting, watering, weeding, and pruning. Operate and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for plant health. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various gardening tasks, ensuring safety and efficiency. Assist in greenhouse operations by propagating plants and monitoring growth conditions. Implement landscape maintenance practices that enhance aesthetic appeal while promoting ecological balance. Conduct regular inspections of plants for pests or diseases, applying appropriate treatments as necessary. Collaborate with team members to develop planting plans that align with seasonal changes and environmental conditions. Maintain accurate records of plant care activities, including growth progress and maintenance schedules.

Basic qualifications



Proven experience in gardening or horticulture with a strong understanding of plant care principles.

Preferred qualifications



Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including lawn care and farming techniques. Experience using both hand tools and power tools safely in a gardening context. Knowledge of irrigation systems and greenhouse operations is a plus.

Pay: From 12.50 per hour
