Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in landscape maintenance and groundskeeping, with the ability to create and maintain beautiful gardens. This role requires hands-on experience with both hand tools and power tools, as well as knowledge of irrigation systems to ensure the health and vitality of plants.

Duties

Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, and weeding to keep gardens looking their best. Plant, cultivate, and care for a variety of plants, flowers, and shrubs to enhance garden aesthetics. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various gardening tasks. Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and gardens. Monitor plant health and identify any issues such as pests or diseases, taking appropriate action as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of gardening equipment and work areas. Collaborate with team members to plan garden layouts and planting schedules.

Experience

Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred. Familiarity with gardening techniques, plant care, and pest management is advantageous. Ability to use hand tools (such as shears, spades, and rakes) as well as power tools (such as lawnmowers and hedge trimmers). Knowledge of irrigation methods and systems is beneficial. A genuine passion for gardening and a willingness to learn new skills in horticulture are essential.
