We are looking for an experienced Gas Engineer to join our team working on streamed council kitchen and bathroom projects across Birmingham and surrounding areas.
You'll be supporting our plumbers on site by carrying out cooker point alterations, gas safety tests, and issuing gas certificates to allow works to progress safely and efficiently. The role involves visiting multiple properties per day, completing essential gas checks and minor gas works as part of the refurbishment process.
Key Responsibilities:
o
Carry out gas tightness and safety tests prior to works
o
Undertake cooker point moves and related gas pipework alterations
o
Issue gas certificates using our in-house software app
o
Liaise with plumbers and site supervisors to ensure smooth workflow
Requirements:
o
Proven experience as a qualified Gas Engineer
o
Valid Gas Safe registration
o
CSCS card required
o
Full UK driving licence
o
Strong communication and time management skills
