Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems across various settings including Caravans and Lodges whilst ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical background and practical skills in plumbing, and the use of hand and power tools. The role is primarily working on owners and fleet caravans, requiring a proactive approach to problem-solving and safety.

Responsibilities

Install, connect, comission, service, and repair gas appliances and systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations Conduct Landlord inspections of gas installations to identify faults or potential hazards Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and plumbing components to complete tasks efficiently Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance and siting teams within designated timeframes to ensure guests and owners requirements are met. Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues or safety concerns promptly

Requirements

Hold the following qualifications - CCLP1LAV, CCLP1PD, CCLP1RPH, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, HTRLP2, WATLP2 Proven experience in gas servicing and repairs Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics Competent in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment relevant to gas installation and maintenance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and customer service skills Clean and current UK driving licence Physical fitness to undertake manual tasks including climbing, kneeling, and working in confined spaces

Pay: 32,000.00-38,000.00 per year
