Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Domestic Gas & Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) Installation Engineer to carry out high-quality installations across residential properties. This role focuses solely on installation work - no servicing or maintenance - and includes both traditional gas boiler systems and renewable heating measures as part of government-funded energy efficiency schemes.

Key Responsibilities

Install domestic gas boilers and central heating systems Install air source heat pump systems in line with manufacturer and MCS standards Carry out system upgrades and replacements as per project specifications Ensure all work complies with current gas safety and renewable energy regulations Complete installation documentation and certification accurately (e.g. Benchmark, Building Regulations, MCS paperwork) Liaise with customers professionally and respectfully while on-site Maintain a clean and safe working environment Coordinate with office and project teams to ensure smooth delivery of installations Travel to various domestic sites as required

Skills & Experience

Essential:

Valid Gas Safe Registration Relevant gas qualifications (e.g.CPA1, CENWAT, CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, MET1/2, City & Guilds NVQ (ACS Aligned)) Proven experience in domestic boiler installations Experience and qualifications for installing ASHP systems Full UK driving licence Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Desirable:

Experience in installing Ideal ASHPs Experience working on government-funded schemes (e.g. ECO, HUG, LAD)
Annual salary for this role is 37,500, dependent on experience, paid PAYE monthly, with 30 days holiday (including bank), long-service holiday incentives and our pension scheme.

This role will be field based, full time 40 hours, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm, with 30 minute lunch.

Flexibility towards the business needs is required along with Saturday working, on a rota basis (one in three), paid as overtime.
