Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to join our team, responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas appliances and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances, including boilers, cookers, and heating systems. Conduct thorough inspections of gas systems to ensure compliance with safety standards. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks related to gas installations. Perform plumbing tasks as necessary to support gas system installations. Execute welding tasks when required for system repairs or modifications. Engage in carpentry work related to the installation of gas systems or appliances. Assemble components of gas systems accurately and efficiently. Handle heavy lifting associated with the installation and maintenance of equipment. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations during all operations.

Experience

Proven experience as a Gas Engineer or in a similar role is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. Familiarity with basic maths for measurements and calculations related to installations. Experience in commercial driving is an advantage for transporting equipment to job sites. A background in assembly work is beneficial for ensuring proper installation of components.
