Job Summary

We are a local Gas Company based in Highbury, and are seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to join our team.

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas appliances and systems.

We're looking for an experienced gas engineer, to help us meet demand, and in return, we offer competitive day pay rates, from 250.00 based on experience, with prompt payment. We are also flexible as to the days worked with given notice.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role requires a commitment to safety and compliance with industry regulations while delivering high-quality service to our clients.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances, including boilers, cookers, and heating systems. Conduct thorough inspections of gas systems to ensure compliance with safety standards. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks related to gas installations. Perform plumbing tasks as necessary to support gas system installations. Assemble components of gas systems accurately and efficiently. Handle heavy lifting associated with the installation and maintenance of equipment. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations during all operations.

Experience

Proven experience as a Gas Engineer or in a similar role is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
