We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Engineer to join our team. Duties

Install, service, and repair gas appliances and systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations Conduct routine inspections to ensure the safe operation of gas equipment Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete installations and repairs Perform plumbing tasks related to gas systems, including pipework modifications and leak detection Carry out heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely during installation or maintenance tasks Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with gas appliances and associated systems Maintain accurate documentation of work carried out and report any safety concerns or faults Assist with assembly of new systems or components as required Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of tools and equipment to various sites

Experience

Proven experience as a Gas Engineer or in a similar role within the building services or utilities sector Competency in welding, plumbing, carpentry, and the use of hand tools and power tools Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to gas systems and appliances Ability to perform basic maths calculations related to measurements, pressure readings, and system specifications Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks in a safe manner Valid driving licence required Familiarity with assembly processes and the use of various mechanical components is advantageous Prior experience working in both residential and commercial environments is desirable
