Key Responsibilities



As a Gas Engineer, you'll play a vital role in keeping our customers safe and comfortable in their homes. You'll work across a variety of properties to deliver high-quality gas services, including:

Installing, servicing, and maintaining domestic gas appliances and heating systems. Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs in line with safety regulations. Using a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) to receive, record, and complete work through our scheduling system. Inspecting and ordering materials required for gas maintenance tasks. Communicating clearly with customers about the work being carried out and expected timescales. Working in partnership with colleagues, contractors, and partners to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard. Promoting health and safety, equality, diversity, and inclusion in everything you do.


What You'll Need to Succeed



To be successful in this role, you'll need:

ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1) or equivalent recognised certification. Demonstrable experience in installing, servicing, and repairing domestic gas appliances and heating systems. A strong understanding of gas safety regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in occupied homes. Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines. Confidence using mobile technology (e.g. PDA) to record and complete work. A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. A full, valid UK driving licence.
