We're looking for a motivated and technically-minded individual to join the team powering our sustainable future as a Gas to Grid Engineer. This is a critical, hands-on role where you'll be instrumental in keeping our Gas-to-Grid (Biogas upgrading) assets operating at peak performance, directly impacting our profitability and green energy production targets.
Do you have experience with gas systems, complex processes or plant maintenance? This is your opportunity to leverage that knowledge and become a certified specialist in the booming Gas-to-Grid sector.
We know this is highly specialised work. That's why we're committed to providing comprehensive training to the right candidate. Your main responsibility will be the operation, maintenance, and optimisation of the Gas-to-Grid plant, specifically focusing on:

The Biogas Upgrading Process and all associated ancillary equipment.
You will also be trained to support our backup and energy generation assets, which include spark ignition and dual-fuel CHP engines and flare stacks. If you have a foundational knowledge of gas systems, mechanical/electrical maintenance, or complex diagnostics, we will provide the path for you to become an expert.
What You Will Be Trained To Do:
-----------------------------------
Own Gas Quality & Export: Ensure the upgrading plant consistently meets the high-quality specifications required for export and maintain continuous, smooth operation with the National Grid.
Diagnose & Optimise: Learn to adjust and tune the gas treatment and upgrading processes to achieve peak biomethane purity and flow.
Maximise Uptime: Execute planned and corrective maintenance on the core plant to guarantee maximum asset availability and meet demanding generation targets.
Engine Support: Perform basic diagnostics and planned maintenance on supporting CHP engines.
Team Growth: Work alongside and be mentored by experienced O&M personnel to build strong in-house technical capabilities.
What We're Looking For:
---------------------------
A solid technical background: Proven hands-on experience in areas such as:
+ Natural Gas / LPG systems or pipework
+ Process plant maintenance (chemical, water treatment)
+ Industrial or large engine maintenance (a plus, but not essential) An aptitude for fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
Proactive, safety-conscious, and highly motivated attitude with a strong desire to learn and master new, complex systems
You must have a valid driving licence
This role may not be eligible for the visa sponsorship
