Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated GDC Registered Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, assist the dental team with procedures, and ensure the smooth operation of daily clinical activities. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment focused on delivering high-quality dental services, including intra oral 3-D scanning and printing. Treatments such as injectables with botulinum toxin are also offered. Candidates must be registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) and possess relevant clinical experience to support a wide range of dental procedures.

Duties



Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Assist dentists during various procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments. Assist with suturing as needed. Take and develop radiographs, including digital imaging if qualified. Manage patient records accurately using Dentally software systems, ensuring compliance with CQC and GDC regulations. Provide patient education on oral health care, post-treatment instructions, and preventive measures. Assist with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, patient intake, and medical documentation. Maintain stock levels of dental supplies and ensure clinical areas are organized and hygienic. Support the dental team in implementing procedures or treatments like intraoral 3-D scanning, 3-D printing and implant related surgical and restorative therapy.

Skills



Registered with the GDC with current certification and adherence to all regulatory standards. Experience working in diverse clinical settings such as specialized practices like oral surgery or cosmetic dentistry. Proficiency in Dentally software systems. Knowledge of infection control practices including aseptic technique and sterilization procedures. Ability to assist with complex procedures including suturing and implant surgery. Familiarity with dental radiography techniques including digital imaging and CBCT technology. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health conditions. Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: 24,420.00-29,120.00 per year
