Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental team. We are a small family practice - fully private.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting dentists during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily clinic activities. Your Role
You'll provide vital clinical support across a broad range of treatments -- from general dentistry to cosmetic and implant work. You'll be a key part of the patient journey, helping to deliver smooth, high-quality care with professionalism and warmth.
Responsibilities
Chairside assistance for dentists during general, cosmetic, implant, and surgical procedures
Preparation and maintenance of instruments, materials, and treatment areas
Strict adherence to infection control and cross-infection protocols
Ensuring treatment rooms are clean, organised, and fully stocked
Collaborating closely with the clinical and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless patient flow
Accurate record keeping and documentation of clinical procedures
Occasional support across sister practices in Bury (optional)
About You
GDC-registered Dental Nurse (essential)
At least 2 years' experience in dental nursing, preferably in private practice
Confident and capable of assisting across a wide variety of dental treatments
Strong communication skills with a friendly, patient-focused approach
Well organised and able to multitask in a busy environment
Positive, professional, and a team player
Basic IT skills for managing patient records and appointment systems

Opening Hours:
Monday 9am - 1pm
Tuesday 9am - 8pm or 2pm - 8pm
Wednesday 9am - 1pm
Thursday 2pm - 6pm
Friday 2pm - 5pm
Chance to build up hours if needed.
Ideal candidates will be those that are based nearby the practice in Urmston.
