We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate GDC Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. Duties

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterilised. Provide exceptional patient care, offering reassurance and clear communication throughout treatment. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules efficiently. Prepare treatment rooms before appointments, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to infection control protocols. Support patients with post-treatment advice and answer any queries they may have. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. Assist with administrative tasks such as updating patient information using IT systems. Support the overall organisation of the practice by maintaining stock levels and managing equipment.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates. Strong patient care skills with an emphasis on empathy and professionalism. Good command of English, both written and spoken, for effective communication with patients and team members. Basic IT skills to manage electronic health records and appointment systems. Excellent organisational skills to prioritise tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with patients, dentists, and colleagues.
