We are looking for a friendly and energetic Part-Time Team Member to join our team at Dulche. You'll help us create and serve delicious gelato, coffee, beverages, and treats while providing a warm and welcoming experience for every customer. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with people and thrives in a fast-paced, fun environment.
About Us:
Dulche is a cafe gelateria opened by two brothers of Italian heritage, serving up speciality coffee with desserts of the continents, delicious sandwiches and authentic gelato of exclusive flavours for over a year in the heart of Fitzrovia. Our focus is on customer experience and ensuring that each customer who passes by leaves satisfied with excellent service and value for money products.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve coffee, gelato, milkshakes, and cold beverages with a smile
Accurately take customer orders and handle payments
Prepare and present products to a high standard
Processing and fulfilling orders on online delivery platforms
Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized
Assist with stocktaking and basic prep tasks
Support the team during busy shifts
Follow hygiene and food safety procedures
Provide excellent customer service and handle minor issues professionally
Communication with back office and management team
What We're Looking For:
Friendly, reliable, and a great team player
Able to work mornings and weekdays
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and customer service skills
Basic knowledge of food hygiene
Ideally, you will have the following:
Extensive experience in preparing and making coffee (at barista level)
Experience in storing and serving gelato in a freezer display
Experience in making and serving crepes, waffles and other baked goods
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 10.00-12.50 per hour
Work Location: In person
