Job Purpose
The post holder will provide general administration support for the establishment. Also to ensure the effective and efficient management of all mail items for the establishment - ensuring that all SPS Policies, Procedures and Directives are adhered to.
Responsibilities
Carry out general administration duties which includes; photocopying, filing, minute taking, dealing with telephone calls and correspondence. Also covering HDC as directed by the First Line Manager.
Ensure the accurate and timely input of appropriate information to manual records and computerised systems.
Respond to queries from both internal and external bodies.
Accurately check, record and update Prisoner database when required within a reasonable timescale.
Dealing with incoming mail on alternate Saturdays in line with SPS policy.
Carry out any other duties as required, including cover for any other administration duties within the establishment.

Two national five qualifications, including English and Maths/Arithmetic or relevant administrative experience.
