Overview

We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our team, responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining various structures and facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in multiple trades, ensuring high-quality workmanship across all projects. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Construct and assemble building frameworks, including walls, floors, and door frames. Perform roofing tasks, ensuring proper installation and maintenance of roofing materials. Carry out construction painting to enhance the aesthetic appeal and protect surfaces. Execute plumbing installations and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Engage in masonry work, including bricklaying and stonework for structural integrity. Conduct welding tasks for metal structures or components as required. Apply electrical experience to install wiring systems and troubleshoot electrical issues. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks. Participate in fabrication processes to create custom components as needed.

Skills

Proficient in carpentry techniques with a strong understanding of building codes. Experience in roofing practices with knowledge of different roofing materials. Skilled in construction painting with an eye for detail in finishing work. Competent in plumbing systems with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues. Knowledgeable in masonry techniques for durable construction solutions. Familiarity with welding processes for metalwork applications. Basic electrical experience is advantageous for completing installations safely. Ability to effectively use hand tools such as saws, hammers, and drills. Proficient in operating power tools like grinders, sanders, and nail guns. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to varying project requirements.
