FACTORY OPERATIVE

Due to an increase in production demands we are looking to recruit a Factory Operative to assist our existing team at our factory in Newtown, Powys.

Experience

Experience within a manufacturing and assembly environment using timber-based materials would be beneficial along with knowledge of H&S and good housekeeping practices.

Manual dexterity, working with tools, working to deadlines, ability to follow instructions, work alone or as part of a team, good verbal communication, attention to detail

Responsibilities

Assemble components according to specifications and quality standards. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and address any issues. Monitor production processes and report any discrepancies or malfunctions. Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
The position is initially temporary but could lead to a full-time position based on the current workload and candidate suitability.

Hours

: 6:45am-5pm Monday-Thursday

Job Type:

Full-time, Temporary (Full time contract for the right candidate after probationary period)
