We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various tasks on-site, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
Responsibilities
Perform general labour tasks including loading and unloading materials
Assist skilled tradespeople with their duties as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations
Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required
Follow instructions from supervisors to ensure project specifications are met
Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning discussions
Experience
Previous experience in a labouring role is preferred but not essential
Familiarity with construction sites or manual handling techniques is advantageous
Ability to work effectively in a team setting while also being self-motivated
Strong communication skills to understand and follow instructions clearly
A commitment to maintaining health and safety standards on-site
