General Manager
to lead our business into its next phase of innovation and profitability.
About the Role
As General Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the company, working closely with the National Sales Manager and reporting directly to the Board. You'll be responsible for aligning operational and administrative functions with strategic goals, driving financial performance, and fostering a high-performance culture across the organisation.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on accountability, innovation, and delivering measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute business strategies that drive growth and profitability
Operational Oversight:
Ensure smooth running of all departments, with a focus on efficiency and compliance
Financial Management:
Monitor performance, manage investments, and support commercial ventures
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build trust with owners, partners, and regulatory bodies
Crisis Management:
Lead with confidence through challenges and change
Team Development:
Mentor and empower the Management Team to achieve company objectives
What You'll Bring
Proven senior management experience (5+ years) in a commercial business environment
Bachelor's degree (required); MBA, CIMA or equivalent (preferred)
Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills
Financial acumen and data-driven decision-making
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Experience with integrated accounting/ERP systems
Entrepreneurial mindset with a "can do" attitude
What We Offer
Competitive salary: 60,000-63,000 per annum
Bonus scheme linked to business profitability
39-hour work week (Monday-Friday)
23 days holiday (rising to 25 after 5 years) + statutory holidays
