We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality industry, with a focus on food preparation, on-site operations, management and service. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, as well as the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. The General Manager will ensure that our standards for food safety, quality, and customer satisfaction are consistently met.
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food production, service, and staff management
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly food safety standards
Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking processes
Supervise and train staff in culinary techniques, serving practices, and customer service excellence
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency
Monitor inventory levels and manage supply orders to ensure optimal stock availability
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development
Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner to maintain high satisfaction levels
Collaborate with other departments to achieve overall business goals
Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and high standards
Skills
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality sector
Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking
Excellent supervisory experience with a focus on team management
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production
Exceptional leadership abilities to inspire and motivate staff
Background in serving and customer service within a restaurant or hotel environment
Familiarity with kitchen operations and barista experience is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
