The Candidate
  • This is a role for an established General Manager, who is used to leading an autonomous manufacturing business - most likely from a metals processing background. Examples of related \'heavy industry\' sectors include the Building Products (such as concrete, insulation and aggregates), Petrochemical and Chemicals, Glass, Refractories, and related industrial manufacturing and process sectors.
  • Degree-educated, you will be comfortable within an international group, adept in collaborating effectively with group peers, and highly effective at communicating with your own team and across all functions.
  • You will be someone who places people, and people development, at the top of your priorities, and who allows your team to flourish with autonomy and trust. A credible leader, who is a strategic thinker, with decision making confidence, and intellectual curiosity.
