General Manager Required Buzzing High Volume Cool Bar & Restaurant Operation
Location: York area
Salary: Around 348,000 with some flexibility depending on experience

My client is a highly successful operator with a portfolio of high-performing , quality branded bar & restaurants. They are seeking an experienced General Manager with ability to run a high volume quality branded restaurant & bar located in a busy location close to York. The operation has consistent regular trade whilst benefitting seasonally from local events, sporting events like the races & a thriving Christmas & summer trade.
The operation is high volume and has an even 50/50 split wet/dry, serving a menu of high-quality fresh dishes alongside a busy bar with amazing cocktails, quality wines & beers. The restaurant is very busy with customers visiting for brunch, lunch & dinner, before staying in the venue to enjoy drinks into the evening at the bar, already buzzing with drinkers . The operation is busy into the evening and opens a little later at the weekends and is also a popular after work destination. The operation has almost a cool modern pub/restaurant feel, warm & welcoming at the bar whilst also serving great food.
The successful candidate will oversee daily operations of the very busy restaurant and bar, ensuring high standards of service and food quality are maintained at all times, managing profit, driving sales, optimizing costs whilst maintaining the company's fantastic culture.What are we looking for ?
xc2xb7 Previous experience as General Manager of a high volume, quality branded bar & restaurant operation.
xc2xb7 The successful candidate MUST be able to manage a business with a even 50/50 split of food/drink & the service style that accompanies this and must have previous experience of doing this.

Whats on Offer ?
The starting salary for this role is up to around 348,000 with some stretch depending on experience & suitability. There is also the opportunity to make a fantastic overall package with both a quarterly AND yearly bonus, TRONC and numerous benefits.
